Bucaramanga, a few days in the nest

In Bucaramanga we did't see much of the town. We arrived at the terminal and headed straight to a place called The Nest, an hostal owned by a paragliding pilot (Richi Mantilla) at 1 min of the take off. It was a very relaxing stop with a lot of Paragliding.

The Garden
The site in Bucaramanga is very easy and great for learning. In the morning there is thermic conditions and in spite of the small height, it it is possible to gain good altitude. At lunch time, a strong breeze arrives, and it is time for a break, a bit of reading and a siesta. Then around 3 or 4 p.m. it is perfect for some evening soaring. A hard rythm!

Evening Flight
We stayed there leaving this hard life for 3 days and then decided it was time for some more adventure. So we headed to San Felix (the flying site above Medellin) for some more action and try to get moving towards the south.
